My name is, Ann, welcome to annmade. I have been crafting for as long as I can remember and knitting since I taught myself at 16. I've always made gifts for family and friends and loved to create cards and home decor. But at some point, about 5 years ago I started knitting hats and I just can't seem to stop. I fell in love with bold colors, high quality fiber, and satisfied customers. I started selling on facebook to people I knew and signed up for small local shows. I was knitting at night, on the stationary bike, at the airport, on vacation, literally any moment that I could. My number one product that I create is hats and other knit wear, but knitting isn't all I do. I love to hand stamp cards and gift tags, I have dabbled in natural beauty products, party and home decor as well.
As covid took over our lives I realized the joy that crafting and sharing my crafts with others brings to my life. I decided that I needed to get serious with my annmade business. However, I am full time working mom and have a very busy one year old at home. I truly love his energy, but he keeps me on my toes and things just seem to take longer to get done with him in the house. It may take twice as long as I hoped, but I've got my plan to relaunch my brand, register my business, and make this legit. I am looking forward to sharing my journey into small business with the world and hope that you will be a part of it.
